As a college student on the autism spectrum, its difficult to learn anything when the instructor gets off topic as often as he did. When it came time for the first quiz, I sat there and did nothing. He then walked to my desk and berated me with questions that I couldnt answer, so I left his classroom and never went back.

He rambles so much through his class time that you never know when to take notes. And if you are a more of a visual learner, I highly recommend not to take this class, he lectures the whole time. He is very technologically challenged and it would of been nice to know what my grade was throughout the course to see what I could of done better on.

Professor Jaye is an easy going guy, although I was upset in the beginning of the semester because he likes to ramble. Other than that just take notes and show up, you will pass as long as you show up do some studying and do the summaries, which are super easy.

He gets off topic and makes uncomfortable sexual side comments. He grades some people harder than others. It really depends on who he likes. This isn't the best since your entire grade is based on tests. Two students choose the same topics and information (written only slightly differently) and he claimed one didn't cover all of the information.

I took this class expecting to advance my understanding of the New Testament scripture as it pertains to the Bible and instead I was taught about the many supposed fallacies of the Bible according to Jewish belief.

He teaches all the way up until the last second of class because he doesn't really have a lesson plan. Gets off topic very often. Very annoying to someone who likes to get things done. Technologically challenged. Very nice but I wouldn't take him again.

You are given a studycourse guide at the beginning of the semester. It has everysubject that will be covered in each chapter for the test. Tests are 2025. If you should up to class and read the book you more than likely will get those 5 extra points each test. 2 easy papers.

He is a funny guy and teaches pretty well, but he tends to get off topic alot! Not really sure when to take notes in his class because of the off topicness but all in all he is a good prof. I'd reccommend taking him for history more than philosophy. He doesn't take attendance and you get 1 quiz each month. No tests in his class.

Yes, he's laid back and funny but Ive had him for two semesters and i still can't understand when to take notes during the lecture and what to study for his exams. His lectures go WAY off topic. I google his study items and show up to class. Not much effort needs to be put in this class. Not even attendance

Dr. Jaye is the man - plain & simple! He's such a sweet & kind person. He is very funny & witty, & kind of goofy. He's not afraid to poke fun at himself - he's a kid at heart. Prof. Jaye is awesome! He is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to get along with. Sarcastic and intelligent, you will never have a dull moment! Digresses quite a bit though. Tests pretty easy. You MUST take this professor!

Great class. Being a student who loathes history class, Dr. Jaye allowed me to better understand why history is important. Not because of the "history repeats itself" bullspit. But to better understand where we come from. As a nation and as a people. I cannot wait for world civ 2.

Fantastic and knowledgeable. Lapses into foreign languages in class. If you know any, you can definitely get some brownie points by showing off some knowhow about foreign countries (he has gone abroad a bunch). Helpful and fun (as much as these classes can get, anyway). You can't go wrong with Jaye, it was my favorite class in my first semester!

Oh man this teacher was awesome!! He was so much fun to be around. If you ever needed help he would always be there for you! I had him for World Civilizations Honors and it was a fun and loving atmosphere. He's the only teavher that I have enjoyed here at CF. I would recommend him for sure!!! Best teacher here. SO FUNNY!
