Comment:
Dr. Reis is one of the best professors I've ever had. His lectures are interesting and engaging, and he incorporates relevant articles into the course. His tests are very hard, and if you don't read the textbook, you will be unlikely to do well. The extra credit he offers is a lifesaver, well worth the effort, and not too hard either.

If you pay attention in class, do all the readings, and study a lot for the tests, you'll do fine. Oh! And do any extra credit you can. Overall though, interesting class, cool professor, would recommend to anyone.

Comment:
The tests are not tailored for the lectures in a meaningful fashion. Reis is a good lecturer in the sense that he can get your attention and make you think or laugh sometimes, but he fails to present the significance of the material related to the topic epically.

Comment:
Generally, very clear, but he's got a very weird dymanic with students and is not terribly approachable. Also, on certain topics, his personal feelings win out over empirical evidence, and that is lame.

Prof. Reis is one of the best lecturers I've had at the UofR. PSY 263 was an amazingly interesting course and I would recommend it to anyone. Doing the readings, attending class and STUDYING are extremely vital in order to do well in the course!! However, because the course is so interesting, actually doing the work is not so much of a chore.

Interesting, engaging, funny and brilliant. The tests can be tricky but they're exactly like the practice tests he puts up (even the same questions sometimes). If you pay attention in class and do the reading, it's not too bad. Probably my favorite class I've taken so far.

Harry is the best professor at the univ. His tests are pretty difficult and you do need to attend every class and read everything if you want to do well, but he teaches in such a down-to-earth way, trying to relate each topic to his students. He's incredibly nice and wants the students to do well and learn. Very passionate and respected. Love him!

This guy is really really bad. He just needs to smile and be open. It would be painful for Harry Reis to smile.
