I had a difficult time with Dr. Webb as a professor. She is very personable & knowledgeable, but there was a lot of inconsistency between what was presented in class and what was expected on the exams. When presenting some concepts, she became as confused as the students & would have to clarify the following class. Her 1st time teaching this class.

Just got out of her Multimedia Design class last year, it was her first time teaching it and she butchered it. Nevertheless went into the final project with 55/55%, so I figured it was an easy A. Spent 50+ hours on final project. My grade is a B+, when confronted her reasoning was because "she had to extract the files"...she's a cs prof. Nuff said.

Very well might be the best professor I have ever encountered. Dr. Webb obviously comes prepared for lectures, course was clearly outlined, expectation communicated, requirements discussed. This professor can answer any of your questions, knows the material. Very, very nice person.

She knows the content but is horrible at explanations, lectures are unorganized and she frequently loses track of what she is doing, further confusing the class. A bit of an airhead. If taking classes with her prepare to be confused unless you are online learning your programming language rather than listening to her.

Her teaching style is very ineffective as she has difficulty communicating with the class. It's not so much a lack of knowledge of computer science that hinders her teaching, but more a trouble with public speaking perhaps? I found she taught poorly and was unfair with the final exam. I advise taking your computer science courses with someone else.

She needs to stop second-guessing herself in class; she obviously knows the material, but doesn't convey that very well. She needs to give her markers more realistic criteria; I'm tired of losing marks for not assuming the reader is more ignorant than I.
