Professor Comfort is super nice and laid back. No tests in this class, just a few papers. She doesn't use canvas for grades but its not a big deal as long as you participate, read the required readings, and work on your papers, her class shouldn't be too challenging.

Professor Comfort is an all around amazing lady. She is hilarious and super interesting. She cares a lot about what she is teaching. There are a decent amount of essay readings with a discussion about it the next class. Participation is key! Your grade is made up of two papers and participation.

I love professor Comfort she was my favorite professor I've taken this semester she is so funny! You have 3 grades for the whole semester, 2 papers and participation. Make sure you do the readings she assigns for class they're not bad at all and participate at least twice a class to get credit for that day. She also takes attendance every class

LOVE HER! She is seriously the sweetest professor ever. She loves when students participate and loves class discussions. We had frequent readings for homework but it was so interesting and not difficult at all. Would take her 1000 times. If you enjoy writing about yourself and interesting topics, take this class.

She is so funny and sweet. There are like 3 papers you have to write the entire semester. And there are no quizzes or tests. The papers you write are super easy. And the reading is manageable. You don't even have to do the reading if you don't want to because she doesn't quiz you on it.

I loved my writing class. Heather Comfort gives the most amazing feedback and is one of those teachers that is always encouraging you to do better. We only wrote 2 papers and she cancelled class frequently so that was also nice

she is extremely nice and passionate about her job and writing. she is full of excitement at all times. there are only 2 writing assignments all semester which was pretty easy. she cancels class pretty often as well. she also takes attendance every day.

Comfort is the best writing teacher I've had in a long time. She is so sweet. We only wrote two essays the whole semester and spent most of the semester workshopping the essays. She takes attendance everyday so be there if you want credit. Also she doesn't assign much homework so do it when she does.

She is the most adorable and amazing human being. I am so glad I had her for writing. She helped me switch majors and is all for feedback and one on one. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who asked

She is a really nice teacher. No quizzes and no tests. You don't read that much and when you do they are really small articles. You will have two weeks off during the writing portfolio time, which is really nice. The writing portfolios are the test grades. As long as you can write a good essay your grades should be good. Attendance mandatory.

I really like Professor Comfort! She is different and her teaching style initially took some getting used to, but I ended up getting a lot out of her class. She is very encouraging, and if you put in the effort, she will as well.

This class is very little work. There is reading for homework which she gives open book quizzes on occasionally and one final project where you can write about literally anything you want. Shes a little quirky and loves the word "awesome-sauce" but she is really nice and cares that you do well.

Heather is something else but I love her! TAKE HER. We only had two papers and they honestly were not that painful to write-they were so different than any other paper Ive ever written that it made it enjoyable; plus you have tons of time to write them. There are no wrong answers in her class & her passion is admirable. Cancels class frequently!

If you have the opportunity to take her you should. She thinks anything you have to say is brilliant. She is an amazing professor who is truly passionate about what she is doing. TAKE THIS CLASS. Heather Comfort is awesome. She's quirky, hilarious, and is really passionate about her students. She adores hearing what her students have to say-- there aren't any wrong answers. Definitely an easy and insightful class that I won't forget.
