Terrible prof. Like one other rater said, majority of my class failed the midterm. Sometimes she would go off on tangents about abortion and things that have literally nothing to do with government (or, if they could be tied into the course material she did not do so).

Worst prof I have ever had. She is crazy. When asked what is going to be on the midterm and final she says "anything we have talked about" 90 percent of the class failed the midterm. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS

At first I thought that she would be a terrible prof because I read these posts. But after taking her class and talking with her, I started to really enjoy her unique style. She has her faults like every one, but try to have an open mind. I ended up having an A in the class. You just have to do the work and readings.

Lunergan is hilarious, she's the cutest old lady of all time and I really enjoyed her class. She's not always clear and she doesn't give high marks (to anyone that I know of) but do what your assigned to do and its an easy enough B+/A-

Horrible prof. She needs to be fired. She would teach things one day, and tell us the exact opposite the next. Her correcting is horrible; she slaps random marks on your assignments. The more she likes you, the higher the mark, so prepare to suck up to her if you dare take her course.

Heather Lunergan is a great woman, and a good lecturer. She may not be perfect (and she is the first acknowledge her quirks), but she is a caring person who really wants you to succeed if she knows you deserve it. Work hard and listen well, and you'll be amazed at how much you have learnt.

Nice person but...she went too fast, and I always had a hard time keeping up in class. Was very disorganized and didn't pass many things back. I really didn't like this course, and if possible, I would have gone back in time and NOT chose this class.

FIRST YEARS: DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Every single student in the class absolutely hated it. Heather can be a good prof, but is usually unreasonable and is WAY to invasive of student's personal lives. Barely knows what she is talking about, and should probably not still be teaching.Workload was very heavy, and she always complained about your work

Nice teacher, bad professor. I think she means well but she is has a poor way of explaining things. Thank god the text was excellent, becuase it's the only way I learned anything in the class. I can see how this class could turn someone away from Poli. Sci. if they were just testing out the waters.

Worst professor at STU. Rambles on about nothing relevant in class. She doesn't write helpful comments on papers, just "Huh"s. Does not cater to opposing opinions, and profiles students. Once you get 1 bad mark with her be prepared to get bad marks all semester. She constantly had to correct herself in later classes for misinformation. SHE SUCKS!

The biggest regret of my life is taking a course with her. The stress she has caused in my life is amazing.The only prof I hated this year.She doesn't read one thing you write, any grade she gave you was decided randomly.Becuase of her and her random marking system my GPA sucks and I'll probably lose my scholarship.Do anything you can to avoid her.

Lunergan is a NICE PERSON not to be confused with a GOOD PROFESSOR. Class was a waste of time to attend because she never taught anything relevant to poli. sci. If it weren't for Malcomson and Myers I wouldn't have leart anything about poli.sci. She never gives things back. Not recommended especially for 1st years. She turns people off from poli. s
