She's by far one of the best professors for English 60. Weekly journals (fun to write), you read a class book not sure if you still do that. Read wonder it was GREAT! There's 4 essays not too bad what so ever the topics are very doable :-) Midterm and final.

Professor Gus was a great English professor, I wish she taught higher classes so I could retake her again! Shes very caring about her students and helps you until you can clearly understand the criteria. Ask lots of questions and be ready to write. All her essays (4) are very interesting and they challenge you. Overall very fun class.

She has four main essays, 3 in class essays, midterm and a final. Her midterm in my opinion was easy because we did it in class and a month after we were able to review it to see what you wanted to fix. Her final is mostly asking for you to write something about you, she will have four topics. You get 4 free absences before you get dropped.

Good teacher. She gives good feedback on essays. You also do group peer revisions. 4 main essays and you do weekly journals. Tries to be funny but usually fails. My class was dead but it was easy. A few presentations but in groups. Would take again.

The second professor in the 280 class, Heidi is amazing. She cares about her students and enjoys listening to their feedback. You'd be hard pressed to find a kinder instructor. I learned a lot from Heidi and enjoyed being in her class.

I miss her. she's a professor that I would want to have again. she's is so caring and makes english easy to understand. She even had a fun TA. The whole time I was in class it felt like anything but an english class.

Easy weekly journals and 4 main essay that have interesting prompts. Its not hard to get through this class because she explains things as clearly as possible and helps you if you need it. She does peer review and conference weeks to make sure you're improving on your essays. Highly recommend her for anyone needing English 60.

she's such a great teacher. so nice and positive. she very understanding and always willing to help you . theres conferences and peer review so you know exactly what to do to get the best grade on essays. journals are required but they're easy. i would take her again in heart beat.

She is by far my favorite professor at FCC. She wants you to pass the class and lets you revise all the essays. There is really no reason why someone couldn't pass her class. Also show up on time of she will start to get really irritated and lecture the class about being late and put you on the spot.

The only thing that I wasn't too thrilled about was that it was a pass or no pass class, but other than that, it was super easy. She gives great feedback, and will really help you with any issues. I wish she was teaching English 100 because she was the best professor I had all semester.

It was an ESP class and the professor plus the tutors were very helpful. Easiest class I've taken my first semester. She's always in a good mood, especially with her Coca-cola :) . I wish more professors are caring friendly to their students like her. The atmosphere in the class was also very welcoming.

Mrs Guss is one of the best English teachers I've ever had by far. Took her during Spring 2015! If you end up taking her class, you've made the right choice. She gives great feedback and points you to the right direction for preparing you for College Writing! Stay on top of your writing and reading, and you'll definitely grow.

Considering i took this professor for a remedial class. she is the best english professor out there. the best attribute that she has is that she cares about her students! she wants you to pass and since its english 39 it should be very easy to pass. take her for the A!

Very sweet teacher. Easy class. Not hard to get an A. Just put in the effort, do all the work on time and read the novels.
