The sound of her voice puts me to sleep. How do I get A's on every homework and quiz grade an continually fail the exams. Do not take this class somehow get around it because my final is tomorrow and I know nothing.

this class was pretty easy. half online and half in class sucks because the videos are boring and then the in-class is review of the videos but you still need to go for clicker points. Noble is nice enough and willing to help and going to SI sessions is really helpful too. will need graphing calculator, clicker, and course manual

Lectures are boring. Weekly quiz and homework. My class was half online and half in class lecture, so do not recommend if you cant catch up with the videos posted every week.

She is very nice and respectful. On the other hand, her lectures can get really boring. There is homework every week and a quiz every week and her exams are hard. When she explains things in class she gives simple examples, but then the homework gets a lot more harder and the exams waaaay more harder.

dont even think about taking out your laptops or phones, shes not a fan, i hear it every class. buy the course manual & calculator, bring your clicker. lectures are so boring and its one of those classes where she makes it seem easy in class and then when you do the work on your own you dont understand anything. online vids are long and boring.

Take the 119A along with it to get a 2% grade boost. I got a solid B+, but if I had studied a lot more beforehand, would have ended up with an A-. I'm just telling you because I regret taking the chance i could have taken to do the best I could have, and I did not. Monotone, but just watch her lectures, show up, and study. You'll pass.

She is a very nice professor and she cares a lot about her students. However, the way that she lectures can be extremely confusing because she tends to teach new material as if the students already understand what she is talking about. It is possible to do well if you study a lot, but be prepared to teach yourself a lot of the material.

She is a very good teacher and the class is very straightforward with what you are going to learn. It is definitely hard material but she allows for questions to be asked and there is SI you can attend. I would definitely enroll in the class where you meet twice a week and take STATS 119-A along with this class.

Helen's class is a hybrid class. It is a struggle keeping up with the online videos, and online assignments, a lot of her class is online. Highly recommend going to SI sessions since they are proven to help you get better grades on the test. It is hard to avoid this class so just try your best and you will be fine.

Nobel is a sweet old lady, she knows her stuff but man is her class difficult. You will fall asleep in lecture. Invest time like go to SI, tutoring, her office hours and you will be fine. ALSO, TAKE STATS 119A for extra practice and an extra 2%!

everything i learned in this class was taught to me by someone who wasn't helen. she isn't a horrible person, just a bad teacher. if someone can take your clicker i would recommend spending your time at SI or w a tutor rather than going to the lecture and learning nothing....

You use a course manual for this class. Lectures are lengthy and feel very long but pay attention to them. Goes over what the midterms will be like and uses iclickers basically every class so attendance is mandatory.

You have to go to class to learn it. If you didn't take stats in high school expect a B or lower. Do the homework and actually pay attention when doing it. You don't have any other options of other teachers so you'll be fine with Helen.

She is my favorite teacher at SDSU!!! Stats was so easy with her. She gives you a course manual that you take notes in and is extremely helpful!! She answers all questions and sincerely wants you to do well in her class. She posts practice tests that are exactly the tests and uses clickers a lot so show up to get easy points and you'll be fine
