California History -- Ms. Looze is very challenging. She expects a lot and that is a good thing. People who can't hang are those who underestimate themselves and are scared of hard work. Ms. Looze is a sweetheart and a wonderful instructor.

Really nice lady. Totally gets into her lectures which makes it easier. She has a big heart and cares about her students. Kinda picky about the tests, but just study and you'll do fine. She made the class interesting, even though the material was pretty boring.

This woman is a cliche, she actually brought us slide shows that had very little to do with our studies. She constantly makes offensive statements about minorities and men and she is as strict as any teacher I've had.

I don't like this teacher. How does she expect the students to memorize all information from book and lecture if she is incapable of teaching the class without looking at her own notes? Expects us to memorize every name and date and so on. Very difficult. I would not take any class with her. She makes me hate history now.

she is very cool. easy to understand. not hard and doesnt give homework. grades are only based on 3 exams. and those exams are basically on how well you understand the material. and the exam question are given on the second week of class.

Very clear lecture and tries to make interesting. Grading only on 3 essay exams, question given ahead of time, based on how much facts you remember. Grades very fairly. End up with C if you attend lectures and review notes (at least write essay before-hand), A if you do your reading too.

She's a very sweet teacher and all and she looks very easy. But think again, she does not cover the whole material in the book, but she does grade fair. I got a c on a test and I didn't read the book at all. Just READ the book and everything you know about it on the test. Than you get a good grade!

Take lots of notes.The bad thing is that she grades you on these exams based on how many facts you memorize and give, not on a well-conceived and developed thesis. I managed to get good grades in the class without ever having FINISHED any essays. Very sweet and engaging lady.

Very good teacher, directions and lectures are extremely clear, no homework, no essays. exams are in essay format, however, grammar, punctuation, spell, format, etc. doesn't matter covers 90% of material in lecture, 10% you get from reading the book. possible to get a B in class without reading book

I agree that Essay Tests are difficult, but in the end, I believe she graded on what we knew, giving extra points if we could be concise and organized... I just threw every fact I knew into my "blue book" and ended the course with a B+ I'd do

She's a really nice teacher...always has a smile on her face no matter what. But when it comes to midterms they are all ESSAYS so memorize memorize and memorize as much as you can. BuT she grades each essay on improvement so i guess its all good!

she is really nice. her essays are hard but she grades lightly. she takes roll, so you have to show up. she is very kind and understanding however strict in her rules that she sets at the beginning of class. i enjoy her lectures and dont fall asleep.
