Adore his personality,s and he tries, he really does, however, his english is difficult to understand, he has difficulty explaining concepts using understood examples, he seldomly finishes an idea/thought, which results in more questions being raised & not enough class time. Otherwise, he's dedicated to making time to meet personally with you.

Dr. Parada was amazing! I really enjoyed his class and his area of research. He's funny, helpful and expects students to put in the work, OBVI. Some ppl need to stop coming to class looking a best friend or group therapy session (yes,its a social work program BUT you're not there seeking a social worker.

i also had a negative experience with him when i needed assistance. it is frustrating when the teachers don't practice what they preach about aop social work. stuff happens to people, even students, that is out of our control and it sucks when teachers don't get that especially in social work.

Not a very nice guy. Jumps to assumptions about his students way to quickly and is very power hungry. Does not like to be proved wrong. Does not treat his students as equals. Not open to hearing reasons behind your ideas. Close minded. Wish he would quit and go back to front line to relearn his skills.
