This was the easiest course I have ever taken. He knows what he's talking about and he is really passionate. He is funny and connects with the students. He's easy going and an EXTREMELY easy marker. Your entire grade is based on one test, one paper, and one presentation and you get to choose the topics you wish to focus on for all three.

Srebby was one of the best profs I've ever had. He's hilarious, he knows what he's talking about more than any prof I've seen, and oh man do you learn from him.

His teaching methods could really use an update. He just reads from the textbook and expects quite a bit for midterms and exams. I had a great interest in this course which was unfortunately ruined thanks to his lacklustre teaching style. I ended up teaching myself the concepts from the text which is a shame because I would have taken this online.

One of those profs that's too smart to explain things properly to students who don't understand. Quite frank and not afraid to speak his mind, no matter what's on it and who it might offend. Literally tests right from the text with essay-style questions. Not necessarily hard, but a little boring if you're not as into politics as he is.

An incredibly smart professor who enjoys it when you ask him a question but will often take it about 15 mins to far. He is difficult to pay attention as it is hard to write notes from lectures. Still a good prof, but for a more advanced class.

I have taken several classes with this professor and attendance is unnecessary. He loves to talk, not very interactive with the class but a fair marker; however, he spams your email, even after the course has been completed.

I think Dr. Srebrnik is an amazing professor, and highly intellectual as well. He is very helpful when dealing with research papers, and also a great person to talk Politics with, especially the politics in Africa. He is an expert in Comparitive Politics, and I look forward to other classes I have chosen that he teaches.

If you are looking for a class where you do not have to go, and still you wont miss much then this is it. Prof just reads from the text and throws his two cents in from time to time. A teaching assistant determines your mark by correcting the two papers that make your final grade which is ridiculous. Also make sure your inbox is empty before.

This man knows A LOT and he likes to share it all, but we hardly touched any of the material we were supposed to. Perhaps it had something to do with such a broad topic - Intro to Politics. Also, PLEASE lose the Mr. Magoo mustache and glasses haha. Tests are easy- read the chapters and you'll pass with flying colours.

Srebrnik is EXTREMELY knowledgable and VERY whitty. He drops really funny one-liners into his class material and only a few bright students get it. It's funny looking at the deer (students) in headlights with his jokes. Excellent prof, easy marker, funny!
