Comment:

He graded midterms even though he wasn't the prof. (he was retired). He lost my exam and refused to accept blame for it. The head of the education department admitted that he shouldn't have been grading anything and tried to sort things out. I never did get a grade for that exam. He was also rude and demeaning in his emails with me.

Comment:

St. Maurice isn't a good professor. All he does is talk at you. While the class is easy to pass by simply jumping through hoops for him, it sucks because he's unclear on directions, doesn't care about the other professor (who I'd prefer to hear from anyways), and seems to take pleasure in ruling our lives (if only for an hour a week).

The man is really a terrible teacher but the class was really easy. I got a 100 on everything, theres 1 project worth 20 points and 2 tests worth 10 points each. He is very unclear on all directions so you just have to kind of wing it.

Wow! I can't believe some of these comments! If you give your definitions in your essay tests and explain your fine! You get to use your book, notes, and anything else you want for the mid-term. Yes the project is really confusing and if you don't find help from him I suggest by teaming up with other people in the class to work on it.

large semester project requirements unclear and when asked about them just says that they will be discussed later. talks about being offensive to none, accommodating to all, and to be unbiased, but is himself offensive and biased. tests are essay format. lectures don't seem to have much content despite his lecturing all 50 minutes of class.

This was honestly one of the dumbest classes I've ever taken. The professors explain nothing and it is a waste of your time. They give you no assignments until the last month and then they pile it on. If you have to take it for education I feel bad for you.

Seemed like he was better than us, never was clear on assignments. asked for help and he pushed me away, wouldnt even answer my questions. if you have to deal with anyone from this class deal with prof. vaezzedeh, much nicer! classes were painful to attend, this was a class about being politically correct yet seemed to treat prof. v rudely.

This is a class about being politically correct and isn't very helpful for future teachers. Many teachers I know all say that Education classes are a waste of time and serve no good purpose.
