Really old and goes off in his own world sometimes. Seems like a lot of knowledge to learn but the test are answer 5 of 25 and you are bound to know something. textbook is essential and outline all the readings to get an A+++. easy A.

Prof. Steck is great!! His lectures might be bit long, but he doesn't give tests just projects and group work. He is really interesting and very approachable. Participation in class is a must! I would take his courses any day!

Comment:

Yes, he can be boring and yes, he sometimes forgets what he's talking about. But he's the sweetest, and maybe the oldest, professor on campus. His tests are super easy and there's really no homework. He helped me get a big internship last summer and he cares about his students and is so easy to talk to for help.

Probably the oldest teacher on campus. He's like a sweet grandpa that everyone loves, but rambles about democracy and other things. Class isn't bad if you can sit through it. No homework. Tests are essay based on readings, but he can be a tough grader.

Hes a nice guy but hes the worst teacher ever! He knows a lot of information however he doesn't know how to teach it. You are completely clueless on the tests because he doesnt tell you before hand at all what to expect to be on it. He feels that if he tells you anything that its cheating. Dont even bother going to his review sessions it wont help

horrible. absolutly horrible. I took his cinema class as an elective and it was the worst thing I could have ever done. i actaully slept through his movies (we're talking Sperry lecture halls here, 4 hour long classes on wednesday nights... yeah!)
