Really awesome professor. She has a clear grading criteria. Usually 1 DB/1 Quiz due each Fri/Sun. 4 essay exams with the last one multiple choice. Didnt really need the book because she posted a chapter outline every week. You get what you work for. Keep up with the assignments and you get an A.

I took her class online and it wasn't all that bad, just make sure you keep up with the work. Discussion boards and quizzes on that week's chapter were due every week, but they could be answered with the material on the Powerpoint lectures. 4 exams in free response format, and the final is multiple choice. Overall, her class was okay.

Overall, normal online class. You have a discussion board and quiz every week based on a chapter in the textbook which she provides slides for. There are 4 essay tests, that are pretty long, but you get a little less than a week to do. Just try and stay on top of things, she is a hard grader, so not understanding the topic could mess your grade up.

This class was very time consuming. 4 Major exams, all essay form (7-9 paragraphs), 11 quizzes, 10 discussion boards, 1 multiple choice final. The quizzes are super easy, but those tests man.. Brutal. Definitely take it as credit/no credit. NOT AN EASY A OR B.

710 points. 5 major exams which are 100 each, 10 quizzes which are 10 each and 11 online discussions which are 10 each. The ODB is graded hard but the quizzes and tests can be found directly in the powerpoint summaries that she posts online. The first four exams are 7-9 paragraph long free response and the final exam was 33 multiple choice.

This class is EXTREMELY time consuming that I would not recommend for full time students. It is most definitely not an easy A since 96% is the cutoff and 95% will be considered an A-. She has a very strict and intense guideline on assignment submissions, a single mistake will cost you 20 point deductions. YES YOU NEED THE TEXTBOOK.

NOT AN EASY A!!! An A is manageable, but you definitely have to work for it. This class is extremely time consuming and the grading is not consistent at all. There are 5 essay exams that take 4-5 hours to complete in addition to weekly discussion boards and quizzes. Definitely not the easiest class I have ever taken, especially as a GE.

If you are taking this class as a GE, take it Credit/No Credit! The book is really interesting but every week you have to submit a discussion board post, every now and then take a quiz, and the tests are in essay format. It requires so much more work than an in-person class would, and THERE IS NO CURVE. To get an A you need like a 95%.

Do not take this professor for phil101 unless you absolutely have to. She is overly demanding, and crazy. She is like a little kid and throws a temper tantrum when she doesn't get her exact way. She also speaks rudely and is condescending in her lectures. I'm three days in and dropping for a better professor.

This was one of the easiest classes taken in my college career. The TA posted the chapter summaries of the book every week for the chapters we needed and we only needed to post a discussion board every Friday and a quiz/test every Sunday. Easy A needed for the Humanities section of the GE explorations.

Easy online class. Just make sure to read the chapters for the midterms and finals. Just keep in mind that the midterms are written and quite long. If you keep up with the weekly requirements, you'll do great.

Awesome class and teacher. She is very clear about what she wants from you. Weekly discussion boards and quizzes and essays exams but really you're just answering questions thoroughly. Great online class, interesting material and I felt like I actually learned something

This class consists of weekly discussion boards & quizzes (easy) as well as papers. You will have about 2 papers due each month & it is formatted in ?'s that you answer from chapter readings. They aren't too hard just a little time consuming. I spend about 2-3 hours on each paper and she has given A's on all so far. She grades more easy on papers!

I haven't even finished the course yet and I'm already fed up. She grades impossibly hard. I'm an A student and I write her a novel for every response on the exams and include every relevant detail I can think of and she still finds a way to nitpick and take points off for missing something. Plus if you get lower than a 96% it's an A- for her.

Since it's an online class, you get pretty much all the information from the book. It's a dense textbook and personally I think it's hard to read philosophy. Six essays was a lot. After the third one I was pretty burnt out. Also, her grade cutoffs are pretty high. I got mid-90s on all but one of my papers (that I got an 80 on) and I didn't get an A

It's a fairly easy class. no need to read your book before hand. you can use the ppt lectures for quizes, and everything is pretty much OPEN BOOK. if put in the work of writing thoroughly, you'll get an A. It's an online class so I don't know how she lectures, but go to office hours and she's normal. If you're lazy, drop out of college!!!

very difficult. Vague, isn't exactly clear with assignments. Tests are like 50 questions that take thinking and time when we were only given an hour to take them. Despised this class.

The course has 5 exams (65%), 2 essays (25%), and the final essay (10%). While in the classroom she lectures till the last minute of class, and if you have a question, save it because she won't even let you finish asking it and just yell at you for not paying attention. Although, in office hours she is a different person, kinder and willing to help

Beware: speaks loudly, emphatically, and sometimes goes on brief rants about things she told people not to do on tests that they did anyway. Lectures have IMPORTANT things. Recommend studying by doing lots of practice problems. Need help? Go to office hours. She likes people who try and can be forgiving with grades. Don't be scared of Reyes!
