Comment:
Hillyer is a very scatterbrained teacher who should not be teaching. Granted, he is a genius when it comes to the subject matter, but he has NO IDEA how to teach it to the students. Also, if you ask a question, he will most likely make fun of you. I made a B in the class, but it almost killed me! Hillyer is funny, but impossible to understand.

Professor, he's not even a real professor, and it shows. He can't teach and he can't handle criticism. He doesn't know how to grade or how to follow his own syllabus. Advice: don't believe anything he says. I wouldn't wish this teacher on my worst enemy.

Unprofessional, inconsistent, juvenile, unhelpful, no empathy for anyone who does not think in math terms. EXTREMELY bad grading policy (no credit for work) and grading schedule (you'll never know your grade). Did I say UNPROFESSIONAL? This guy should not be teaching. Take this class only if you want to be made fun of for asking questions.

He knows his stuff and is clearly good at Math. However, he is not good at teaching. His explainations are quick and not clear at all. He is spontaneous and I found his class the hardest I have ever encountered. Still, if you know math and can work it out at home by yourself then take his class.

Smart dude with a dry sense of humor makes for a fun class. A bit unorganized, but he knows his stuff.

Very unprofessional, unprepared, doesn't explain lessons and formulas very well or how to work each step in a problem. Gives quizzes out at random and only counts half of them. He's smart but not a competent teacher.
