Very nice as long as you are really trying. Somewhat boring at times, but very helpful and really knows her stuff. Expects a lot from sketchbooks and class. Don't miss class because you will hand in most in-class assignments, which are everyday.

I was really disappointed with this class, and with her. I am a drawing major and she managed to make it boring for me. She did not tell you how much time to spend on a project or how big it should be so grading was not fair between students. Sketchbook requirements were unclear. She was so uninspiring to me, and most of her remarks seemed biased.

I've enjoyed this class. She's really helpful in giving feedback on your project ideas - kind of like hints on how to do your project well. Speak up in class. Pretty clear and goes through things slowly. I don't know if she's a good lecturer though - this was a studio class.

She was okay, but too nice to critique anything properly. Lots of class work and take home assignments, which was good, keeps you practicing. At least she didn't make me give up hope in art, she was really nice and friendly.
