Comment:
Dr. Hunt's presentation style is odd. He teaches philosophy as if it were a History of Philosophy, which makes the class a lot different than what it could/should be. He goes off on tangents easily, and most days the he does nothing but go off on tangents. He's a good professor though, and he knows his stuff. Class is boring, but he tries at least.

This professor is awful. It is a philosophy class but he is very close minded. I have not learned very much at all in the class and he puts stuff not even covered in class on the test. He seems like a nice guy but he is not a very good professor. DO NOT TAKE HIM

Nicest guy ever. This is a very difficult class. I recommend a study group from the beginning. We taught ourselves the material. He is very willing to meet with you to help, answer you calls, and return emails. He is extremely intelligent and busy. Wonderful old man, but a tiny bit scatter-brained. I just hope I ever use the material in real life!

This class could have been taught to 6th graders. What should have been a class full of critical thinking was, instead, a class full of basic facts. He spends at least 20 minutes per class relating completely irrelevent stories. I was really looking forward to this class, but it was a huge dissapointment!

Overall I liked the class. Quizzes includes stuff ONLY mentioned in class. Quizzes moderately easy but he likes slightly tricky questions. Included some questions in final that were not discussed or in readings- me off. Halfway thru class he stopped checking Discussion Board. Monotone. Relevant story telling. Likes discussion. Got an A.

I thought he was a good professor! He doesn't teach from the textbook, but more than that, he teaches from life. He likes discussions, which are fun. He does use Powerpoint extensively. He keeps up with his students after the class is over. He's amazing!:)

He was a good guy but he really did not know how to teach. He rambles about off the topic stuff and our class only had 3 essays. The essay topics were completely worded to not understand and he grades extremely hard. I ended with a C.

Some may find the soothing manner dull, but I found it made me really comfortable and also indirectly increased my love of philosophy. (And my faith in humanity. Not a minor accomplishment.) His work on Edith Stein is fascinating.

He was EXTREMELY boring, and he would just go off of random tangents in the middle of class. One of my favorite subjects is phillosophy, and he just made this class one of my least favorites.

I loved this guy! No one else seemed to enjoy it, but I thought he was great. If you bear some of the rambling, he's really intelligent and interesting. Wonderful human being. Class was super easy and very stimulating.

Nice guy- easy tests (take-home essays). DOES ramble a lot, though. Vey soft voice. But he doesn't make you spend money on a useless text book- he put all our notes on WebCT so we could print them and use them on our online quizzes.

This clas could drive you to drinking! It's 8am, he turns off all the lights and lectures from powerpoint in a very soft monotonous voice. It was all I could do to keep from banging my head on the desk!

This guy is the most boring professor I have had at kennesaw. He rambles, and is monotone. Assignments are easy, tests are a joke (with minimal studying), and there are no wrong answers for the final project.
