This professor is really Funny, you learn all about the History of NYC and the battles and settlers but his stories before he starts lecturing is the good part, you have assignments once a week and some dont have to do with NYC. Its one page papers once a week like visit a church not of your religion or eat something not of your background...

Charismatic and inspiring are the best words you can have to describe dean Le. He is smart, he is mad funny and he makes you think critically. However his class is not an easy one and you actually earn your grade. He gives you heavy assignment and papers to do but you will learn a lot. This is prolly the best class I can ever have. Reccommend!

awesome guy! take him if you can.. for the morning. he gives u a 10 page research paper where he can help u with and questions for the midterm/final. participate as well! he loves it. he's always absent too. very nice guy, cool down to earth as well. he's a dean in the graduate department!

Dr. Le is a great teacher who actually makes you think. No memorizing boring dates and facts in this class. Two tests that he gives you the questions to before hand, not bad at all. He will put you on the spot from time to time, but its all in good fun. TAKE HIM!!!!!

Professor Le is a brilliant vietnames teacher. I hate history especially since I am a math major but I really enjoyed his classes, i ended up taking Asian studies as an elective just to have him. I got an A and a B+ in both classes.
