Iain is a nice guy. He has a genuine interest towards sound, which he enthusiastically shares with his class. Firstly, don't be fooled, this prof. is not a hottie, nor is he an easy marker. But, he is an passionate and knowledgeable teacher.

Iain is a great teacher because he loves the subject and knows what he is talking about. Great knowledge of digital media and the internet, and always has a great website to show you. I learned a LOT in this class. REALLY great. A bit of a tough marker though. be careful for labeling.

Majorly wicked prof! Loved him! Was one of us and treated us with utmost respect. Was quick to answer any questions you e-mailed him with and it was easy to talk to him as a person. Very approachable! Can't wait 'til Sound ! next semester!

Great guy outside of class. Terribly anal in marking.Loses sight of artistic angle for technical. Seems like no matter how hard one tries 80% is the plateau of grades. Easily offended and unecessarily harsh for a fisrt year course. too bad he's a cool guy.

Probably best teacher in coms. Easy going, but sometimes a stickler for the small stuff. Very cool, easy to talk to, and knows a lot about his field. Always an interesting class, good guest speakers and so on. Opposite of Professor Leo Aristimundo.
