Amazing prof, loved his classes he doesnt deal with bull crap . Extremely straight up and straight forward. Doesnt sugar coat things (hes not your dad) so he doesnt need to. Too bad he retired the future students of advertising and marketing at Sheridan wont have the pleasure of getting taught by him

Good guy, means well. BUT will tear you and your work apart if its not how he wants it superficially. Asks you for one thing, expects another. I want to cry. All of his lessons and explanations are loose and scattered and make zero sense. He will help you if you go to him, but will tear you apart every time. Good luck young ones.

Ian was one of the best teachers I've had. He's funny, attentive, and helps whenever he can. I was sick for a few weeks and fell behind, he helped me get back on track.

Not the best when explaining expectations of assignments. Marked assignments are found to be very biased, so if your not kissing his ass or doing what he wants or likes specifically you will get a bad mark. Also he does not seem to follow his rubric, so be careful! I would NOT advise any student to take any of his classes.

For a program coordinator, I have never seen such innacuracy and mistakes, while at the same time preaching the importance of quality, accurate and professional work. His presentations and work review are full of mistakes, which he then accredits to his wife. Can I say the same on my tests?!!!
