Ian is a gem among stones. Honestly my favourite prof, it is a blessing to be put into his class. Go to his office hours. Even if you don't have a question just go. He is the nicest human being and will help you feel so much more confident about the course, and university in general. Very personable with great lectures. The reason I got through 1A.

At first, this course was incomprehensible. So much new notation it was coming out of my ears. Four months later, the final was a piece of cake. I'm taking C & O because of this guy.
