Comment:

Hard work and lots of quizzes. He gave lots of opportunities to improve the grades, with several and not so difficult quizzes. Listen to what he says in class about tests and you will be prepared. He does not talks very much in class, it is mostly a hands on course. Do not skip classes, bad deal.

He's one of the better profs at seneca. if you can't handle him, consider switching schools. He's a fair grader. He doesn't really teach but if you have a specific problem or stuck on something, he will help with that. Go to class, study hard, and teach yourself (because no one else at seneca will).

Avoid at all costs. Does not want to help and very condescending. When you actually get help from him, makes you feel very stupid. Hes basically still at seneca because hes been here since the 1980s so they cant fire him even though hes one of the worst professors and program coordinator.

The course was very well structured. In all we had 3 lectures during the whole semester; all of the material was online. He didn't teach much and when he did it was uninspiring. The course was tough and involved a lot of reading. He wasn't very approachable in class but always responded to emails promptly.

Ian Tipson is a busy guy. He is the Program Coordinator for CPD and CPA. Don't expect that he is going to be helpful, but he replies to emails. Assignment instructions are straight forward, very easy to follow. He is not a tough grader, but you need to study the class notes before taking the quizzes.

One of the best profs I've had. Responds to questions in a timely manner, gives relevant assignments. Interesting testing method (Do all prep work, as it is impossible to complete a test in 2 hours without it)gives plenty of notice as to what needs to get done. Take him seriously, and if you aren't somewhat capable you MAY have some difficulty.

Very knowledgeable about his subject; every bit the "brilliant curmudgeon." Funny, but it takes a specific sort to appreciate his humour. Not his fault that the subject is garbage. Very much the Gregory House of web programming.

This guy took away my interest and passion for web programming. INT422 is about ASP.net, but this guy was of no use. Never codes in the class, he uses other professor's slides, so he is as clueless as you are when reviewing those slides. Don't take any class with him. Never helps any students. who hired this guy? both of them should be fired.
