Very difficult to understand, does not explain concepts all too well. I used online videos to help me learn. There are a lot of grading curves though, and grading is pretty lenient.

Truly awful. He provided the students with very little resources and when he switched from lecture slides to writing, everyone's marks dropped dramatically. There were constantly mistakes as well. His tests aren't hard at all, but his lectures aren't great. Study for the tests and you can pretty much ignore keeping up with the quizzes (5% total).

He is very fair and fun to deal with although he may appear to be somewhat tough. I enjoyed taking class with him. He knows what he is talking about. He is open to comments and suggestions. His exams and quizzes are a bit different and perhaps difficult than many others in the dept but being fair, it doesn't heart and he tries to compensate it too.

Great professor other than the mandatory attendance part. He doesn't say that attendance is mandatory but he makes sure you attend. Spot quizzes. Assignments are given in class only and no information is posted on the course website. Avoid taking a course with him if you occasionally skip classes.

He explains the concepts very clearly. If you attend the class, you will learn a lot about Operating Systems. However, he gives assignment which are not very helpful to understanding of the material though they are somewhat useful for preparation for tests. But tests and his grading are PATHETIC! 330 sucks. But Ahmad is a very good professor, friendly and understanding. I'd definitely recommend taking courses he teaches. God knows there are way too many a***oles in the CS dept and Ahamd is not one of them.
