Comment:

Excellent course which combined the academics with experiential learning. I would encourage students to take this course for a thorough study of theory, which is applied to the outreach/experiential learning component of the course. One of the best courses I have taken at Brock University, and I completing my degree this acdemic year. Great prof.

I am now pursuing graduate studies at anoter university and this was only possible due to professor Blayer's mentorship and support. I am so fortunate for having taken courses with Dr Blayer. Excellent professor. The majority of the students in the class (enrollment close to 40 students) showed great interest and made intelligent comments when participating. As a linguistics student and someone with a background in various languages this course was fundamental for a richer and deeper understanding of the comparative analysis o Romance linguistics. Romance Linguistics is one of the best courses I have taken at Brock. I am a linguistics major and after 4 years in the program, this is one of the courses that all students in linguistics should take. Dr. Blayer is very knowledgeable, an expert in historical Romance linguistics. One of the best Professors that I have taken courses with.
