Okay, yes she has an accent, but it's perfectly understandable. She is such a nice person and she is very helpful and interested in helping someone if they needed it. She really appreciates and encourages participation but won't randomly call on you. Her quizzes suck, but they really don't count!I also recommend doing the journal. bumps up grade.

She is an extremely nice woman, completely understanding of personal circumstances, and pretty lax about attendance. The class is extremely boring but you don't have to do any work or even read to do well in the class. She tries hard to make it interesting, though, and she is clearly really passionate and knowledgable.

Prof. Scherer proved enthusiastic and good at highlighting main points. Homework was reasonable amount and always relevant. She was always willing to discuss assignments and always had really helpful feedback. Plus, she's genuinely nice. I would definitely take her again. Take her intro class!

Very nice lady, cute Germa accent. Dr.Scherer is really passionate about philosophy and gives really good class lectures, which means you basically don't have to do the readings! Can be a little bit of a hard grader, but offers lots of extra credit!
