Ivan is a great professor . He cares about students and is very clear with the expectations. Always there to help you and actually goes the extra mile that most profs wouldn't ! He's very funny and always tries to engage the class ! Definitely recommend him :)

Very Great Prof, really funny and always tried to make the class interesting with his music or jokes or random pictures in the notes. Definitly recommend this professor. The class got a little dry at the end but wasnt at all his fault.

I did his distance course from the St. John's campus, and his course manual is AMAZINGLY clear and easy to follow. Very eager to help you through e-mail. Makes the course an absolute pleasure to teach yourself. I'm registered for another of his distance courses next semester. I only wish I went to Grenfell so I could take one of his classes.

This Is one of the Universities Best Professors. He is Kind, FUNNY, and very smart. Dr. Emke makes each class fun to go to and I always looked forward to the next class. the Midterms are fair as well as the papers and finals. I had him for four courses and hope for more in the future.

Probably the best prof I have ever had. He was interesting, funny and so easy there was no way you could not love this guy. This class was also really cool, we got to study ads and commercials and watch a few commercials every day before class.

Good teacher. Fairly flexible; if you want to take a different spin on an assignment he'll usually let you. Good tests. Hard to pin down, but easy to talk to once you do. Easygoing guy, really nice.

Good prof for a course that's very difficult. Needs to get his act together more sometimes, and back off on unreasonable assignment demands. Hard midterms with inappropriate study materials (told us book, book was useless). Still good tho.
