I had Jack for Calc 3. Overall, he was a pretty good teacher. He likes to show the proofs for the equations and derive a lot of things. If you ask him a homework problem though, he will work it all out. His tests are homework questions from the book or similar questions. Everything was straight forward. Not super interesting, but a great prof

FAR from impressed. He is very vague & random - hard to follow. VERY monotone. I NEVER fall asleep in class - except this one! He seems to understand the subject very well, very intelligent, but he does not understand his students at all. Many times I answered fellow students questions because he didn't listen & ended up on a tangent. Repeat of 097

For me Jack was hard to understand. He gives lectures that are hard to understand. There are other professors who can make you understand the subject better. Nice guy, will help you if you need it. Personally, if you struggle with math look for someone else. If math comes to you easy then you should be okay.

Very good teacher. Of course, you got to do the work he assigns, or you will lose it, sooner or later - it's Math, it's studying. Super nice guy and helps you understand the problems you got. Is there for you. I recommend him!

Not the class to take if you want problems explained to you. Most of the teaching is done by him working the problems out on the board and leaving you in the dust. You will be teaching yourself! I do not recommend him for those who like the problems explained in an understandable way.

This teacher is very confusing. I don't recommend him to anyone who likes to see every single detail to a problem step by step. Mr. Crowell skips a lot of important steps and you spend most of the time trying to figure out how he got his answer. If you happen to have him you'll spend most of your time teaching yourself stright from the book.

Easiest math class I have ever taken. I totally advise everyone to choose him for their math needs. He is also funny, with his corny jokes, about math. He takes questions in the beginning of class about homework and such.

Went to office hours, asked for help, he replied "I dont know what to tell you." Not willing to help at all! I asked him for help on a problem and he sent one of the other students to help me! :( Very dissapointed. For someone that math is hard for this is not be your best option.

Awesome teacher and very easy. There's no real homework and all his material was very easy. I would recommend his summer class!!! I loved his corny jokes. Best Math teacher ever!!!

He is very smart. He tells the cornest math jokes but they stick with you.His test are so easy because he explains them thoughly. I would recommend him to everyone in need of a goo math instuctor.

Professor Crowell is definately one of the best math teachers I have ever had. A definate teacher to have if you have the oppertunity, to those who complained about his way of teaching, you'd understand what he goes over if you would take the 30 minutes to do the homework prior to his class. You do the work, you pass easy on the tests. A+teacher

The subject material (Calc 3) is very hard. Unfortunately, he likes to do things straight from the book and I didn't see much of his contributions to teaching the class. He definitely knows this subject well though. You really have to work hard if you want to get an A, but he does sometimes curve tests; there are only five tests, plus the final.

Great guy. Like everyone has said he does have a quick pace to his class. The only complaint I have are the test. The test are the only thing that counts torwards your grade. He grades tests quite fairly. Gives partial credit. I would recomend him.

This professor is either pass or fail I didn't like his class because all that his grades were based on were some tests the only way to pass this class is to do all of the homework and show up everyday. He goes to fast and it seemd like he wanted all of your attention focused on this class only.

I have taken him several times. He is the only math professor I trust. He does not want to see anyone fail, black, white, hispanic..., he treats everyone the same. I am shock that anyone would have anything to bad say about him. The best math teacher by far at Delta! He is always willing to help
