I really enjoyed taking Micronutrients with Dr. Logo. He is a great professor who communicate his expectation well. He is very supportive with the assignments and gives clear direction. Both exams were moderately challenging and study guides were helpful!

Took online & highly recommend! He is very clear on directions and extremely helpful. A DB post and quiz every week and 2pg paper every other. The only difficult things were quizzes, but you can drop your lowest! Great class and instructor!

There is a fair amount of work. Weekly DB topics required depth and then you must respond to 3 posts. Essay papers due every other week. I felt that he was not a hard grader on these. I always got the max points. The tests are very hard. Took this class online and whenever I had a question he responded in less than 24 hours.

Comment:

Logo is a nut, but you gotta love him. I'm not sure who put that he's hot.. but the class is easy- just go to his review sessions before each exam and you'll do fine. It's not as pointless as most nutrition-type classes are. you'll actually learn a lot- and hear a lot of the same jokes and stories about "flatulants" and 4-bean salad and bicycling.

This prof is so enthusiastic! He makes a lot of jokes and keeps class entertaining. Definitely try to get Dr. Logo if you take nutrition. It's a great class, and pretty easy. Self-tests online are open book, and exams aren't bad if you go to the review sessions and pay attention in class.

Will do anything to be accomodating, tries hard to make material interesting. one odd thing is he talks about flatulence or other such bodily functions at EVERY class, seems to be a little obsessed. He's a good teacher, would recommend him, but something about him just kind of creeps me out.

Kind of annoying to do the self-tests for every chapter, but at least he cut them down from 30 to 15 questions. You learn a lot from him, and the tests are super-easy, especially if you go to the review sessions. Easy A, no prob. If you're going to take nutrition, take Dr. Logo over anyone else!

Though the class was a little dry, Dr. Logo was very enthusiastic about the information and lectures. Overall, a good prof and a good experience. The only thing confusing was the presentation...the details were very confusing and it was hard to find time out of class to do it.
