His lectures are sometimes dry, but it's economics so what do you expect? Takes the time in small classes to discuss things in depth, and available for help outside of class.

Jalil is so boring. He seems like a nice guy but everyone in class is on their phones because he is so boring and bad at grabbing attention. HE doesnt even seem like he enjoys the class he teaches, how are we supposed to? Very bad at telling us most important concepts for the midterm. I do not feel prepared at all for this midterm

Jalil is incredibly nice and always willing to help. I'm completely useless at econ, so I found the course extremely difficult. I really like that when he marks youir assignments he shows you what you have done wrong. I eventually stopped attending class though because it was too early in the morning to not fall asleep.

Jalil is really nice prof but incredibly boring! Just watch for his TAs, I had a really good TA so I ended up doing really well in the course. Jalil has really fair exams and marks super generously! Textbook reading is a must but overall, really recommend taking classes with Jalil!

Jalil is the man, Though he is really monotone and sticks to the textbook in his lectures, he knows his stuff. I wouldn't want to be taught economics by anyone else.

Good Professor. Fairly easy assignments, but they make u think and are relative to the course material. His exams are easy if you study and are not too long. He is VERY reliable and will respond to emails quick . Only downfall is he talk to low and his accent is hard to understand. Very smart professor.

good prof, makes things understandable. in response to the previous comment, science classes arent necessarily harder than econ. some sciences are unbarebly easy.

Hard to stay awake in this class. And extremely painful to watch him mess with the computer: everything is on PP & the guy doesn't know how to boot up and log into a computer! YIKES! The tech was there every day. He's not very helpful to students. Seemed mixed up a lot of the time.

Sooooo boring. He has one note in his voice. His PP lectures are straight out of the textbooks CD, so it's the exact same format and information as the book. You don't need to go to class, just keep up your reading. Jalil is so paint-by-numbers, he wont through in a comment thats not in the book
