Quizes every morning, if you are late 5 min you loose a quiz grade and he does not allow you to make it up. Does NOT give and partial credit on exams, should have passed class with an A but he makes it very difficult. If you miss a test he does not allow you to make it up. Only grades you based on test and daily quizes and is not easy 2 talk to.

Comment:

After taking Calculus in high school and passing with an A+, I thought it would be easy to take again, but I was extremely wrong. This teacher is by far the WORST teacher I've ever had. Very unorganized and never teaches what is actually needed for the tests. Not only this, but all of the chapters posted on blackboard, he has never gone over once.

I am generally a great student in maths and sciences and this teacher is by far the worst I have ever had. All of the rather negative reviews are not in the least bit exaggerated. As one person previously said, it is scary that a person that is such a poor teacher can still have his job after so many years. Hoping that Iona listens to people soon.

very tough to understand. most of the class was lost more than half of the time. Wouldn't recommend taking him, gives daily 1 question quizzes on what was learned the day before but doesn't seem to care if you're lost.

Worst professor I've ever had. I haven't learned a single thing the whole semester. I've always been a good student when it comes to math but this professor makes the whole class look stupid and he doesn't help you when you ask him a question. Avoid him at all costs.

I never thought I would have a professor that each class does not teach me one thing. He rarely helps you when you ask questions and doesn't thoroughly explain problems. If you are a decent math student you should definitely not take him. I had an A in math every year til this class and now I'm failing

The worst person you can ever have. He does not care about the work only the answers. Only cares about how to use the calculator and barely shows you how to do it on paper. Plus he talks about history that is not related to the topic. Whatever you have to do, I beg you not to take his class

The worst math class I've ever taken. All he does is yell math at you and explain the history of math, but doesn't explain the concepts you need to know. The hw is nothing like what is taught in class and never checked so don't buy the textbook. I had to teach myself the whole semester with Youtube and khan academy. Do not take him if you can.

Literally the worst. Do not take his class, I repeat do not his class. So terrible, whatever you do, don't take his class. He may just be the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. He's not a mean person but he does not teach. I had an 8am with him and he legit yells math at you. If I could rate him a 0 I would.

Super tough grader! You don't need a textbook, just a calculator. He claims to give you all the material you need to know but it is a lot of busy work that he does not check. I would not take him ever again he made it super difficult to learn and no matter how hard I studied he would take off several points in the tests for pointless errors.

Its really not him its the subject, And he teaches it well. However, if you don't understand something you need to speak up. Don't think oh this wont be on the test. Talk to him to get clarity. He has a sense of humor to which makes the class better. Take this professor for calc study and you will pass. And for Gods sake just know your derivatives.

WOW! I have never met a more rude person in my life. He makes you feel like an idiot if you ask a question. He spends half the class talking about the history of math and does one problem per topic and does not go over homework. He uses hard daily quizzes for attendance and his test are unprofessional, he trys to trick you. DO NOT TAKE FOR GPA!
