wow, how can anyone think this guy is a good teacher. He is the most hypocrytical person I have ever met. He rants about his scewed political views, and does not believe in giving A's. I hated going to class, but had to cuz he deducts points if u miss class. Enjoy.

Professor who knows his subject and enjoys teaching it. Can wonder from time to time but often leads to a great point. Puts a stronger emphasis on film than what I would have expected but I was pleasantly surprised since I'm passionate about film too. Interesting class that I would recommend highly.

amazing professor, you should take this class if you're serious about art. you will learn a lot about artists that aren't in text books, real applicable knowledge about art world today. very inspiring, helps you to define your own art style, my most worthwhile class yet.

A breeze, watch movies literally every day, in-class lectures have nothing to do with tests but there is attendance policy. Tests are on the text, but just key words and selected works, easy if you take the time to study. He's not afraid to say what he thinks, so beware if that offends you.

a realllly good, fun, interesting teacher.....the projects are basically up to your interpretation and always something imaginative, makes you want to get up and go to class at 8am despite the numerous tangents and jokes def. recommended!

Extremely easy teacher, dosen't believe in testing on art, so test are simply going through the motions. Watch a lot of movies (All Oscar winners) and he makes the class a lot of fun. No one skips class out of respect for the man because he is awesome.

Crable is great. If you take his drawing class, you won't be drawing, you'll be painting, but you will learn more in this class than you ever will in an art history class. Class is very worth taking if you like to do art!
