hard grader, but does make you want to work hard to get an A. it seems almost impossible to get an A, but he is really nice and explains things thoroughly. some classes are boring, but others are pretty interesting. he is also very knowledgable about religion. i don't regret taking the class, but wish that he was more lenient with grades

This class is not as bad as people are saying. Yes, it's a challenge, and there's a 15 page paper, but this is college!He's an adorable old man with a lot to teach, if you can stay awake. Lots of videos, and tests are hard. I won't say it's worth the work, but it certainly could be worse.

Dr. Dalton is a very hard teacher. His tests are near impossible, his grading system is awful. If you do what's expected of you, you get a C! VERY writing intensive, class is VERY boring. He's too old to be teaching. When he talks, he stutters a lot. My dad had him 30 years ago!! I would not reccomend this class, I should have withdrawn.

Do not take his class!! I came in majoring in history with a keen interest in religious studies, and now I would do anything possible to drop his class. I have done everything he has asked and gone above and beyond that, and still can't get higher than a C+. I know my stuff-- he is just very unfair.

Class was kinda of boring but he tried to make it interesting. I got an A on every exam, but these came from a good deal of studying. Igf you study a lot and know what you are talking about and WRITE A LOT on his essay tests you should be fine

Professor Dalton is a really funny guy and great teacher, however he is a ridlicious grader. His tests are very hard and specific. I would recommend taking him if you have hours to devote to studying and reading for his class.

He's not as bad as people say. If you go to class and pay attention, you'll do fine. His tests may seem hard but they really aren't that bad. After the first few grades, alot of people get discouraged. If you do the work, you can easily get a good grade.
