I f you are reading this you know Dr Daley is dead. I took his class in 1974 after coming home from Viet Nam. I wanted to be a contractor, Dr Daley changed all that. Be cause of him I ended up going to Medical school and Law school. Thanks forever Jim

I don't know why some people didn't find this class interesting. It's supposed to be an introverted outlook to psych; to show you whether or not you're up to the challenge of deciphering social relationships. If you didn't figure that out during the final, you really weren't paying much attention.

Most of the comments are on target, whether good or bad. He can offend the ultra-sensitive, but he also can keep your interest at any time of the day the class is being taught. He definitely has his share of tangents in lecture, but at least most of them are interesting. His choice of videos to show was sometimes questionable. He does like to talk about himself, but it's not always flattering, and he likes to praise his students as well at random times. Definitely an experience!

If your taking psychology for a major, don't take is with Daley. He'll only talk about how great he is, and how much you aren't. I can honestly say, i have not learned a single thing from him that i was SUPPOSED to learn in a psychology class.

Interesting thoughts that made me wonder. Teaching style is out of the ordinary, usually at a whim but interesting. If you're a sensitive individual who can't open up to things and possibly take into consideration, don't take the class. ACM 2003
