Not a good teacher. One person rated him as "petty" and 100% hit that nail on the head. He is a petty man with a complex about something. Do not take his class!

He's really not that bad (for HUMA at least). I easily got an A in the class. Quizzes are open book, but they're timed so you still need to know the chapter well. Gave extra credit on both the midterm & final. Wasn't a harsh grader on the paper. Had a 97+ in the class for the first half of the semester until I stopped reading for the quizzes.

Terrible teacher who knows absolutely nothing about the real word. Those who cannot teach and he cant even do that. He is unclear, rude, and should work data entry or another profession you do not have to interface with people. I know I sound harsh but just stay out of his class.

Worst professor ever! He grades papers like he is some king and really has no idea, plus if he makes u come in and rewrite something and says its prefect, then ends up taking points off it when he grades it. His lectures are long and boring, the only reason some people do well is because they are a history major if ur not good at history avoid him

He really isn't as bad as these reviews say. I've carried an A in the class without a whole lot of effort. He offers extra credit, and is pretty fair when it comes to grading. If you put in effort, there is no way you'll get less than a B. My only complaint about him is that his lectures are hard to take notes on.

Dr. Dupree was my main Marketing professor and adviser when I graduated from GCC in the late ‘90s. He was he an embarrassment as a teacher/human, and his encouraging parting words for me at my adviser exit interview were "you'll never amount to much." I now earn millions in marketing, mostly by doing everything opposite what he “taught.” So, thanks

Dr. Dupree is a bad teacher and a bad person. He is rude, unhelpful, and does not at all exemplify the standard of Christlike behavior that GCC professors should be held to. At the end of the day, I really pity him more than I dislike him. (But I dislike him a lot too.)

Demands that his students follow instructions to the letter, but gives TERRIBLE instructions. Disorganized, condescending, unwilling to accept the blame for his dozens of mistakes, hard to understand, and rarely gives any insight on the subject. Just an all around terrible professor. At least his tests weren't as difficult as his lectures.

This is the hardest professor I have had a Grove City. He is not clear at all during his lectures (which are all over the place) and one time the classed asked him a simple question and he replied "I don't know look it up in the book." I suggest you do not take him

I really dislike this professor, you can study for hours and you still won't know half the stuff on the exams. He was snobby, arrogant, gave awful lectures and it was almost impossible to take notes. Worst teacher/professor I've ever had. Don't take him.

A nice guy, but NOT a history professor. Didn't know what he was talking about, and lectures were confusing. We spent hours going over the material in a study group and still didn't know anything for the tests.

has PhD in Theology, that's the first problem as he tries to teach this class. Shows very little interest in the material and in the students. Impossible to understand, you mostly teach yourself. Make sure you participate. You can get a good grade, but it requires much effort on your own time. Do not rely on him to teach you the material.

The fact that this man is a professor here makes me want to transfer out of GCC. Incredibly demeaning, disorganized, and incompetent. Grades are totally subjective. He will never admit he is wrong, always blaming his mistakes on everything but himself. Messed up material on a regular basis. Do not take this man EVER. Worst prof I've ever had.

Dupree is a great professor, and students who work hard will learn a great deal from him. His personality can be difficult at times and he does not spoon-feed material. If you apply yourself to the material, you will enjoy the class, gain much valuable information, and earn a good grade.

disorganized, reports wrong scores often, very particular with simulation notebook, but won't say in advance what he wants or say what is wrong after grading. The material, simulation, and class is interesting, but he makes the class irritating through his pickiness and multiple assignments.
