Overall the class is super easy if you show up regularly. However, he isn't good at explaining anything and often gets confused or says the wrong thing. But if you have to take this class take it with Falender because he is the easiest of the options.

Don't show up for class 30 seconds late or he won't let you take your quiz. He helps a lot during the lab if you have any questions though so that's a plus. However, he talks about the lab for the following week, so make sure and takes notes or you'll forget everything he talked about.

Dr. Falender seems to get really confused at times. He doesnt really explain things very well. He goes over the exam right before you take it so that is helpful. He also drops to of your lowest labs and the lowest quiz scores and he curves everyones final grade. Even tho he isnt a very a good teacher he is easy

It's a very large lecture class and its VERY easy to get distracted and not pay attention. Prof Falender is a decent teacher but he is very quick on his notes and does not go into any description. I would suggest getting a tutor for this class.

First off, I hate chemistry. This class was really boring for the most part and hard to pay attention to. He gets easily confused and distracted so you should read the book for better clarity. The labs are extremely easy and help your grade! Tests aren't too bad as long as you study!

He's very nice, I found the class to be easy but I studied. Labs are extremely easy and if you study the tests are too. He seems to get confused and mix things up so make sure you read your book. You have to come to class becuase you have labs almost every class and cant make them up.

Kinda boring, but you should still take notes. Do the labs and prelabs, they are easy points and since there are only 5 tests total the labs effect your grade. Basically the same thing as a high school Chemistry class.

Very boring, doesn't keep your attention. Doesn't teach you anything, you teach yourself. One project and even though attendance isn't mandatory you have labs or quizzes everyday so you basically have to come!

I would not suggest this professor if you have never had chem before. if i hadn't taken reg and AP chem in high school, i would be lost. lectures are boring and he doesn't know how to teach very well, he just talks at you.

RUN! Run as fast as you can. If I didn't know chem, I would have failed. He doesn't know how to explain things properly, and he sucks. Though, very easy to cheat and all his exams had a pattern to them. He raises lowest labs and exams at the end.

He is a nice guy, but he is unclear in lecture. Work hard on the labs, it is hard to get 15 out of 15. The exams have a pattern to them, but you need to study for them. There are a lot of ways to boost your grade, like a treasure hunt which he is helpful with. Nice guys, boring class.

Very nice guy but such a boring class! His lectures take forever, he doesn't explain things very good, and his TA's help you more then anything... If you try, the class isn't that hard...but be prepared for labs they mark you down on everything

I liked him. Tests were easy and had an answer pattern. He reviews old exams the day before your tests, write down those questions and answers b/c a lot of them are the same questions. The TA's are helpful but it is hard to get a perfect score on labs, ask questions. I recommend him!
