He knows microeconomics well and he does a great job of explaining concepts, but he is very boring to listen to and doesn't use D2L. 4 assignments, a midterm, and class participation. Uses TopHat so you gotta pay for class participation. While it's easy to get good marks with him, he's very boring, so if you don't pay attention, I'd avoid him.

Dr. Feehan is quite helpful. Notes don't always correspond to what is on assignments but just a quick skim of the text is helpful.

I took this course as an elective & absolutely loved Dr. Feehan. He is great at teaching and relating economics to real life. Contrary to previous rates, I found his notes to be quite helpful and easy to understand. Exams were very straight forward and easy to follow. Overall a very nice man & I would highly recommend him for any economics course!

You have to re-teach yourself after his lectures. His lectures were messy at times but everything you needed to know was on Pearson, including tons of practice questions that were very similar to the assignment questions. Wouldn't have gotten through this course without taking advantage of the online resources, it made everything so much easier.

I actually had to drop this course, it was so bad. Notes were all over the place. Made us buy a $60 access code (on top of a $175 textbook) to give us online assignments so he didn't have to grade them himself. These assignments had topics he didn't even mention in class, leading me to believe they were pre-made standardized evaluations.

ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE PROF!!!!!!!! Please save yourself some hurt and crying this guy is the worst professor ever. Despite his well reviews before he is unhelpful, confusing, and just bad overall. The assignments gave would take over 8 hours to complete. He made the course extremely hard and all over the place with his notes. GET OUT IF YOU HAVE HIM!

Went by reviews on this site and regretted it so much. Honestly was my worst prof all semester. His lectures were very boring, notes were all over the place. Assignments were very long and he would never email back about questions. Often tested on concepts that were not taught in class, basically read the textbook and teach yourself everything.

He was a nice guy but a boring prof. His notes were all over the place with many messy graphs. His assignments were long and on subjects he didn't teach. The textbook was crucial to getting a good mark.

I personally did not enjoy Mr. Feehan whatsoever. Found his class and lectures to be boring. Assignment and exam questions differ from what is taught in class, and examples given in class are graphically based with very few tangible numerical examples showing how to use formulas and such. Would recommend not taking him for introductory economics.

Although he's a nice man and definitely knows his topics, I didn't find I learned a whole lot from the lectures. You need to spend a lot of time reading the textbook and googling stuff to know what's happening. Also, the tests and assignments were savage

Great prof, great notes. Knows his stuff very well, lectures flow like some sort of serene mystical lake. As long as you attend class and take notes it's very hard to do bad in this course.

Pretty good professor overall... His notes can be all over the place at times, but it helps a lot if you pay attention in class. Going to class is a must, but the text wasn't too bad... Even though the final was a lot harder than expected, if you do the work, you should do fine.

Feehan is probably the most boring prof I have this semester; I can barely keep my eyes open. His notes aren't the greatest and are all over the place, but if you pay attention, it helps a lot. READ THE BOOK.

Best damn economics prof at MUN... hands down. Knows the subject matter inside in and out and can transfer his knowledge to students. You have to earn your mark but you will never learn more about economics from another prof, regardless of your mark. Oh, and the math he can do in his head is ridiculous!
