He is a great professor and helps you a lot on homework and take-home exams. However, he is strict on grading the tests. Try not to skip classes; it's essential to take down everything he writes on the board. Prepare to get lots of homework from him.

I had Dr. Fenwick for Statistics, and it was alright. Being a student who hates math, Fenwick made it a little easier to understand it. He does tend to get a bit too excited, and that leads to him going off on something random, which isn't the best. Many exams, but notes are allowed on it

Dr. Fenwick is an amazing person and I really enjoyed his class. His expectations were clear, and there were no surprises during tests. His tests are also open book/notes. His lectures were good and he added some dad jokes in them often. He was easy to reach and would always help you if you go to his office hours. He is very nice and respectable.

Dr. Fenwick is great! He can get a little mixed up during lectures at times but he always makes sure that everyone understands the material. He's really a kind and funny guy too. Would definitely recommend him for anyone who thinks they'll have issues with stats.

This class was great. His lectures are awesome and cover exactly what you need to know. He doesn't take attendance but you really need to go to class to get the notes because the tests are open-note. I thought I wouldn't like statistics going into this class but I have a newfound respect for it now.

This course is a breeze if you show up and take advantage of tutoring if you expect that you will struggle. I did not need the book, since homework was optional, and statistics is already a strong subject for me. The tests are open book and open note, so there is honestly no excuse for failing this course.

He is THE. NICEST. GUY. He's ready to help you if you just ask and you can tell he really loves stat. He's also funny which helps break up his otherwise dry lectures. He's really into the theory behind statistics and you will be asked to prove many derivations of various formulas. Would recommend, but only if you're ready to put in the work.

Dr. Fenwick is very kind but his lectures can be confusing and extremely boring. I thought some of his methods for teaching the class were more confusing than necessary (I've taken a different stat class before). That being said, if you ask for help, he will do anything he can to help you. If you go in during his office hours, he will happily help.

Great guy, great teacher. Last 3 quizzes and final are open-book/open-note. Hard not to do well. Minitabs are easy points. My only regret is we didn't get any further in the class so he could teach us more.

I HATE math with a passion, but Dr. Fenwick made math fun to learn and easy to understand. 4/5 tests are open book and open note. Mini-Tab assignments are easy, but get less descriptive as the semester goes on. Homework is optional, but I would do it to better understand the concepts. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Fenwick for people who dislike math.

Dr. Fenwick is a very nice professor. His door is always open and will do his best to help you along the way. With that said, his in-class tests are hard which is 50% of grade, then the take home is 50%, expect a C average on tests. Other that that, you must do all your homework and there are a few mini-tab assignments. Very demanding.

Really nice guy...tough class but he explained everything pretty well. Extremely willing to help whenever you need it. Open book/note tests, but you need to know the concepts. I definitely recommend him...if you try, you'll have no problem passing.

he was such a great professor. if u take stats from a God-awful professor and then take him (like i did), you'll see how great he is. tests are ok as long as you did the homework and asked questions if you didn't understand. he has a thing against gambling which is kind of funny. stats is hard, but he made it easy to understand

I don't see why every1 likes him. I thought he was HORRIBLE. DIDNT LEARN A THING from him. Open note and book? yea, but the tests are so hard I couldnt even USE MY NOTES or book.I was very organized but it doesnt help. Tests are on nothing he teaches. I give HIM an F-. Hes not as good as everyone rates him.TRUST ME DO NOT TAKE.13/30 fail each test.
