Very extensive labs but they help reinforce the lecture material. Attendance is not mandatory and you could get by just reading the textbook, but the lectures really help.

Speaks to students in a very demeaning way, and occasionally can be very rude. May just be his sense of humour but not funny for all students. Overall not a nice professor but is very knowledgeable and willing to help.

Very very clear and concise teaching style, I'm looking forward to taking another course with him next term. He goes very fast, and you have to pay attention (but this is university, so.) I wrote to him asking questions on a subject of my interest, and he responded with PARAGRAPHS and links and sources and was extremely helpful and informative.

Very good prof! Cares a lot about his students. Always willing to help. Been to his office many times for him to help explain material and is always willing even if it isn't his office hours. Lectures can contain a lot of content and you have to work hard but the work is usually interesting!

Very concise and to the point when it comes to definitions and expects the same from students on midterms and exams. He recognizes name to face very fast so I would not recommend skipping. Most of the crucial course content information is not included on lec slides but talks about them off slides so prepare notes and get ready to listen.

Crystal clear lecturer. Explains some really dry material well enough to keep you engaged. Expect students to figure out answers but will help. Knows everyone's facename. Beware this if you're a class skipper because he does not like those people AT ALL. Tests reflect this. Heard he's great in office hours but always been too intimidated to go.

I found Professor Hamilton to have interesting content. He himself however is a very rude person I would recommend not taking his classes. When he talks to you it is in a demeaning manner and often makes you feel idiotic for not understanding something.

Dr. Hamilton was a fabulous teacher. He managed to break down complex material and explain it in simple terms. He's nice, approachable and really knows the material well. The material itself is somewhat dull, but he makes it interesting. He helps with labs, his tests are fair and his teaching style is splendid. I really enjoyed his teaching.

Awesome prof. helps with lab material questions when approached. Material may be a bit dry but he tries his best to keeps it interesting. If less than 50% of the class shows up, the lecture slides are not posted.

The work load is intense and overwhelming. He does help if you come to him and ask him for help. The exam was hard, but fair. Covers A LOT of information in lecture and refers to the textbook nearly every slide. He takes interest in every student, calling people by their names, etc. Overall great prof.

By third year, Hamilton takes the time to know everyone`s name and help out with labs and assignments. Course is a lot of work and he can be boring at times, but Hamilton is always there to lend a hand.

He is a good prof. Not exceptional, because he is a bit dull to listen to, but I guess your speech style can be hard to control. In my experience he was supportive and fair.

One of my favourite profs. Always clear and gives interesting lectures. His tests aren't hard, but they are fair and he gives you a heads up on what to expect. Had him every year since first year, probably one of wlu's best profs for sure.

Difficult classes. He's very helpful. Always in his office when not teaching, available to help. He never gives the answer, he gives clues and lets you figure it out. If the class does poorly on a specific lab, he write a new optional lab. If you do it, it replaces the poor grade. cant get much more fair than that. And a genius. Like MENSA smart.

Absolutely spectacular lecturer, although the content isn't that interesting .. he has a way to make it stick. Makes things crystal clear in lectures, and his expectations for assignments/labs/midterms.
