Comment:

My favorite teacher throughout all of my college career. I had him for 92, 93, Pre-Calc, Calc 1, Calc II, Calc III (multivariable) and Differential Equations. His lectures are fast paced and packed with info. He makes it very hard not to succeed in any of the classes he teaches. An excellent professor and a stand up guy to boot.

Great teacher, I took Calc 1, 2 and 3(independent study) and got A's, very helpful, still use calc 14 + years later. One of my best teachers, prepared me for my BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Very helpful and great with explaining; he'll sit with you until you understand it. I like math, so I didn't find his class extremely difficult, but others did. I don't think he gives too much hw, and felt his tests weren't impossible. Make sure you know what you've just learned for his quizzes b/c he only gives 1 ques on them.

Herman is a very dedicated teacher. Yes, there is tons of homework but to get the material and to do well on tests it must be done. There is always opportunity to bring your grade up. Great over all teacher, you must take him if you have the opportunity.

There is alot of work, but he is the best possible math teacher you could take at cecil. He gives excellent notes, puts alot of time and thought into his word problems, is available outside of class, and has alot of passion for his work.

I had the wonderful pleasure of enjoying Mr. Herman for MAT 91, 92, and 93. You can't ask for a better, more helpful, thoughtful, and caring professor! He ALWAYS gives you an opportunity to get an A. He spent countless hours with me outside of class!!!!!
