Jim loves himself, that's for sure. I don't think I've ever heard the phrase "When I was in New York," more times in my life than in that class. He tends to cut students off a lot, but that being said he's a fair marker, almost easy, and he loves what he teaches. Also, he does want you to do well in the class. Average prof.

James/Jim is a nice man who is really into the history behind theatre, however, he tends to talk about HIS experiences in theatre and HIS experience in New York. Its gets to the point where he begins to brag about it and you feel overwhelmed. He marks fairly, just as long as you put though behind your point.

He is very smart, and has a ton of theatre experience. His expects a lot of first-yr students, and grades essays fairly hard. To get a good grade on assignments you need to follow his instructions EXACTLY. Some people complain you only get a good grade if you agree with him: not true. I disagreed in class a ton and got an A+. He wants THOUGHT.
