He was amazing! He lets class out 15 minutes early but I would advise you to stay and ask questions! He is always willing to help you during office hours! If you go to him and show that you really do care about his class, he will help you! Excellent teacher. Plus he offers "technology points" (bonus points)!

I love Marion! He is really easy going and easy to understand, he gives great examples in class that let you apply it to actual life. You have the option to leave class 15 mins early if you want, he doesnt care about attendance. Just dont text in class and dont talk and he will be a dream! TAKE HIM!

Great professor. Very helpful. If you have concerns, he'll help you in detail after class. Sometimes he's not the best communicator, but he makes up for that with his knowledge of the subject. Take him if you have the chance.

So this is gonna be straight and to the point. Marion is by far the BEST math teacher I've had since Junior High. His class teaches you what you need to know. Its not overbearing and he doesnt teach things on a "you should already know this" kinda of basis he teaches it to you like its your first time hearing it which really is extremely helpful!!

Dr. Marion is a huge assett to Louisiana Tech. His passion for math is obvious and more importantly, he cares whether his students get it or not. Unlike some other math teachers at Tech, Marion does not have the "teach yourself with the book" attitude. Awesome!

Mr. Marion cares so much about his students. If you attend his study sessions, then he will help you out a lot. The class is easy ,but he makes it interesting (giving ridiculous examples).He has a passion for math. I would definetly recommend taking him. A textbook is not needed for any of his classes.

Mr. Marion is possibly the best teacher I've ever had. He is hilarious. Sometimes he'll leave me in class but it always makes sense later. When he tells you that you need to look something up in the book you need to. Mr. Marion helps ALOT if you go to his office after class. Don't annoy him.

tests come straight from what he writes on the board during class. As long as you are a good student and dont annoy him he will like you. People say he lets class out early everyday but he doesnt. He finishes teaching 15 minutes early but the rest of the time is for you to get started on homework. you can leave if you want but cant go to his office

Basically, he gives you the information you need to know. Don't expect long, drawn out proofs of theorems. Often his classes would end 15 minutes early or so. Also with the way he weighs the tests there is a lot of room for error. You can fail a test and still come out with an A

Fantastic! He uses 1/2 the class to teach then dismisses you or you can stay and get homework help. Homework is to your benefit and not collected. I was having trouble with a problem on a test and he told me what to do and let me attempt it 3 times before I gave up. ON A TEST! 2 quarters later he still knows me! Funny and makes it intersting! GREAT

Love this teacher. Highly recommend him. He uses the first hour for teaching and second hour for homework (not mandatory) Majority of students left but if you stay and show him you want help and that you are trying he will do alot for you. He is very funny and he keeps you entertained however show him respect don't sleep in his class.

Marion is a really good teacher. I didn't really need the textbook that much. I just studied from notes I took in class and got an A. He gives funny examples for working the problems and he's really nice. The class was supposed to be an hour and fifty minutes, but we always got out early.

Keep class interesting, he is an old fart with a great since of humor. If you ask for help, he is very willing to help. I had a rough quarter and just had to tell him that and he helped me every way he could.
