Great prof, very funny & has a deep passion for English. Does NOT play favourites. He WILL notice if you attend class or not, & his willingness to help will be affected accordingly. Loved listening to him go on about the Romantics ("oh, the trees, oh the deer, oh what a beautiful rock!"). Won (well deserved) award for teaching excellence in 2007.

Noble is funny, and passionate about his field. He doesn't play favourites; he just doesn't allow students to slack off or coast in his courses. He expects good attendance and if you go to class and participate he'll give you all the help you need. Just don't expect to do nothing but hand in your papers and get an A.

He plays fav's, and if you aren't one of them, be prepared to barely pass! He makes you question your own writing abilities, and expects a PhD level of reading the text....he's unrealistic, and the group work is kind of a waste of time, don't take his class expecting to raise your GPA.
