He's actually a pretty nice guy when you talk to him one on one. He is reasonable and so long as you do the work and go to class he will like you. There are three tests and he drops your lowest, and only takes four quiz grades that you do on Moodle. 10% of the class is literally showing up to two plays. You'll be fine.

Not a terrible class. Prof is helpful whenever he is asked to be. TA's run a tight ship-basic college etiquette. I miss the jokes and the driving lessons. Can't believe I get graded to learn this stuff--its videos and plays---um, awesome.

Great teacher, he isn't boring or stupid whatsoever. He tries to get you to think about how things in our society are changing. Easy exams, multiple choice. Textbooks are plays, really cheap. The class isn't focused on theater itself but he does cover aspects of it. Strict on attendance and punctuality. My favorite thing was he was real.

His class is BORING!!! His class is fairly easy if you read the material and read the notes. There is no real need to take notes because his assistant puts them on Moodle. The tests are multiple choice so it's not hard to get A's on the tests and in the class. NEVER be late, and your ONLY allowed to miss 2 classes and he is REALLY serious about it.

Not helpful at all, starts every class with 20 minutes of useless information about driving, but God forbid you be 1 minute late. He says he spends 4 hours making each lecture. I believe that because all he does in class is get off topic and rant about our society.

Terrible class. He begins every class with a "joke" and a driving lesson... which neither have ANYTHING to do with the course. Lectures are boring, although the exams do come from the notes (which he has his TA post online along with the powerpoints) He have 2 TAs. One to take notes and one to scan for cell phones. Overall, No good.

boring boring BORING. requires you to be in class, takes attendance for 250 people. ridiculous. doesnt allow food, cell phones. you get called out for being even a little late. if he wasnt so rude i think i'd like the class but sometimes he's just crazy with his rules!

He's so sarcastic it's funny. Lectures are kind of boring and not really on topic sometimes...however, he is very knowledgeable of theater and even directs the plays held on campus.

Kind of a strange guy, but a good teacher. Lots of class discussion and debate. He really makes you think about things from different perspectives. All tests we had were open book. He may seem weird at first, but he's hilarious and you'll come to appreciate that.

Comment:

Vesce is a great guy. At first I didn't understand him but I've gotten over that. He teaches by doing. So if you do something wrong in class. He is expecting it and uses it as a teaching tool. Don't feel bad. He provides the readings for the class. He can be a little vague or "clear as mud" as he likes to say. I highly recomend him.
