I'm ashamed of all these other comments on here. Dr. Walker is one of the greatest professors to have ever walked Ferris State's campus. He is the most caring professor about his students. Yes, his exams are difficult, but you learn so much, and he wants to challenge his students to learn?what good professors do. He's an amazing man!

Best Teacher on campus he is very passionate and inspirational. The man knows what he is talking about. If you don't act interested he may pick on you a little in class but its all in fun. Best part no text book but a recorder is nice to have. Decent notes helps a lot too.

memorizing art, not my idea of a good time.tended to preach his beliefs on sensitive issues and the art he that he chose to teach all reflected his preaching. never had an opposing viewpoint.had his own text that was mandatory but could have been easily printed off and stapled.tests are essay form that required great detail but didnt grade spelling

Hardest class I have ever taken. Put in the most effort I ever have, and received my lowest ever college grade. In attempts to reach out for help, he didn't answer emails, and constantly was not in his office during office hours. I by far learned more in this class then any other class, but grading was ridiculous.Tests are random essay questions

When it comes to art, this guy knows his stuff. He gives 4 exams and a final on all 4 topics covered. There's usually 3 essays to each exam. Doesn't grade on grammar or spelling, just content. Go to class, otherwise you will fail. Take GREAT notes and study them well.

This guy is a total joke, never take him!!! Impossible to pass! Makes fun of other teachers at Ferris. Don't even think twice about this. Don't take him! Four exams and they are all impossible. Total power trip for this guy, can tell he's got nothing else in his life going for him.

Dr. Walker is a great guy. Humanities is interesting to learn about, and Walker has been all over the world and seen many of the pieces of art so you know he knows what he is talking about. If you are a science major take this class. Its a good change of pace.

One of the best and yet most difficult courses offered at Ferris, in my opinion. Dr. Walker is awesome to listen to, he really knows what he is teaching, has a true passion for it. But it is very difficult to test over. there are 4 tests and a final, that is it. Study HARD and do well, if you don't, you won't.

Very intersting class.Attendance isnt mandatory but if you skip your screwing yourself. 5 essay exams are the only points you get in the class.He will look over essays you write before the test and tell you what needs to be changed.Very helpful if you have questions. Go to class, Study for the test, and let him correct your essays=A for the class

Dr.Walker is by far my favorite professor at Ferris!! There is a lot of studing involved but he makes the class very interesting and you come out of class learning a ton.
