Jan is a great teacher, she does not have favorites and is always willing to help all of her students. If a student gave her a poor rating, they most likely did not give their best effort in her photo class. Her class was a lot of fun and I learned a lot. She was very helpful. Go Jan!

She knows her stuff, but I found her to be moody-definitely one to play favorites. She was very realistic when it came to projects and what she expected from us, she wanted to make sure we leftthat class with some kind of knowledge of photography that could be used even if it isn't our career choice

Jan Plays favorites in her classes and if she doesn't like you and you don't suck up, she will go out of her way to fail you. She doesn't teach, comes in late all the time, and is convinced she is God! I would avoid her class at all costs!
