Great professor. His tests are piece of cakes. You will only fail or do poorly on his exams, if you don't take any notes, and if you don't go over the practice exams. He will only make you feel dumb if you lack common sense and ask dumb questions. Definitely recommend him over Anna.

Shepard was a great teacher. If you did bad in the class it was your own fault. He is very specific with what's to be on the exams and gives out old exams to study for which are very useful. He also guides the whole class through lab with some extra credit which is a huge grade booster. And he does answer questions, just not the time wasting ones!

Make sure that you listen to this man!! He knws his stuff and makes it fun. Great lecturer. Doesn't mind answering the "what if" questions. When he tells you that you should know something for the test.. make sure that you know it!! he's not lying. it WILL be on the test!

great teacher very knowledgable, 1000 times better than Dr. Anna. Lab is only worth one test grade instead of 40% of class and its an easy 97-100 its like gettin a 97 on an exam. his exams are hard and you must study very much but its an upper level chem what the hell do you expect
