the class isnt as fun as i thought it would be. she tries to encourage class discussions but the class is mainly everyone sitting there while she rambles on about the current topic. the book is one she put together herself. its cheap, but poorly done and confusing with her notes out in the margins... shes retiring after this year.

I realy tried to understand Dr. Wojcik's theories and ways of grading but it's imposible to please her. She is not helpful at all and I went to her ofice on several occasions.. This is not an easy class!

She is interested in challenging your views. Participate in class discussions BUT be sure that all of your arguments have some sort of premise. If you're open to different points of view you'll enjoy this class. If you are not able to appreciate opinions that oppose your own-TAKE ANOTHER CLASS!

I think the reason that she is getting varied ratings is due to the fact that she is very inconsistent. I agree that is usually VERY unclear as to why she counts off on tests. I went into the class really wanting to like her but I came out having done well but realizing how unhelpful she really is.

She is not near as bad as she has been in the past. I found it to be very straight forward. Read the material, pay attention to the lists and make an effort in class which includes going. Take interest, and suck up your pride, you don't have to agree with her but just ride it out and you will well.

The class was hard, but everyone I know made an A. If you study all day and night before the test you will get an A. She gives you every possible question that could be on the test, but they are essays. Class is boring, if you have a friend in there you don't have to go ever.

The worst teacher at Auburn hands down,counts off on tests for no reason and won't explain what you did wrong. ONLY 3 TESTS! Most people fail their first time through. Stay far far away!

VERY GOOD teacher. She really makes you think and work hard. This class takes some work. With only 3 tests, you cannot afford to bomb any of them. Definitly a stimulating class.
