Jane Crane is a fine instructor, it's just that calculus can be challenging, I found her to be very nice, fair, and skilled at explaining tricky math concepts. She's cool. If you have to take Math 160, you can't go wrong with Jane Crane.

She is tough, but she is good. Do every homework assignment and treat each one like a test. It helps a TON as far as her tests go. Good teacher but no cakewalk.

Always walks into class with a smile on her face and offers as much class time as possible to make sure everyone understands the material. She does not follow the book at times, but since reading textbooks put people to sleep more than half the time, I don't blame her one bit. As a fellow Wisconsinite, I highly recommend her for ANY math class!!!

DO NOT TAKE HER! She is very condescending and indifferent to students. She does not teach from the book and gives far too many problems on the exams to finish in the allotted time and will not allow anyone to stay later to finish the exam.
