She really was not a good professor. Half of the things we did in class had nothing to do with what we had to write. Not to mention we had to write a ton of articles without even learning how. On top of that, she was not helpful at all outside of class. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

She was definitely a tough grader when it came to writing papers, but was a great help. Lectures and discussions were always very interesting and engaging. Overall, she's a tough professor, but helps you learn a lot. I loved her!

Janet Janet. She's kind of crazy (in a very McGonagall-ish way). She scares me, but that only makes me try harder in her class. She always makes reasonable comments on my papers, and I know I got exactly the grade that I deserved.

She doesn't seem to want to help. She is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. I have emailed her on several occasions and will get a response back days after the due date for the assignment. Unclear as to the writing process. Midterm was all essays that made you list things on a specific page of the book! What!?!

I took the Civitas section with Janet. It was probably my favorite class. The stories are interesting and thought-provoking, and she does an amazing job of making you think. My writing and critical thinking have improved immeasurably!!
