Comment:

She's the BEST! I took Calc 3 with her. I wish I took Calc 1 & 2 with her too. I took this class in summer along with three other classes. She was a lot of help, I took 2 tests out of 4 in the ASC (Academic support center). She is very organized, her notes are all color coded. Easy and clear notes .

Comment:

Mrs. Peart is an amazing teacher! I am not a huge math person, but she explained things in a way I could understand. She was very easily accessible outside class and is willing to meet during office hours. She will sit down and explain things if you have trouble. She is also very funny. If you are hesitant about math at all, TAKE HER CLASS.

SUCH a good teacher. Makes it personal, helps you ALL them time and she is 100% available all the time. Hilarious, the lectures are easy to follow. Tons of homework, but I only did 80% of it and I still got an A-. Do the homework, put in effort and you'll win an A.

Do not hesitate to take Peart! She enjoys what she teaches and is a fair grader. She answers all questions and if you do the assigned worksheets you should not struggle in her class

She is a good teacher but i feel like when someone ask a question she gives them sass. Class is all notes and sometimes it can get boring. Homework is a lot but its a math class so that is how it usually is. In the test there are no surprises just study and you will do good. The one thing i disliked about the class is that we use MyMathLab.

She is an amazing professor, i struggled in high school being three years behind in math as a senior but she explains everything in detail and takes it step by step. If you struggle with math TAKE HER!!! as long as you show up to class and do homework you will pass!

Peart is one of the best teachers if you're struggling with math. She breaks things down one by one and makes you really think and apply. Her lecture papers are scanned and put onto D2l and if you do the homework you will EASILY pass the class. She also explains things in basic concept so if you're not math savvy you will understand it.

Great math teacher!!! Never understood math going through high school and she explains everything so much better. Goes over test questions until you feel confident for the test. Would definitely take her for every math class if I could.

She really breaks the methods down for people who's brains are not in the math world. She uses smiley faces in the notes and posts them on D2L if you miss the class. I wish she taught 1150 so I could take her again. Tests are really easy if you did the homework. 10/10 would take again

EXCELLENT professor. always willing to answer questions and help. good personality for anyone who deals with any personality disorders or depression like me. lots of homework, but its calc 2, what do you expect. would have gotten an A if i studied, but depression makes life hard in general, so i didnt study much. i highly recommend

I dislike math, A LOT. Mrs Peart was a wonderful professor! Encourages questions in class and is always will to help. She is very available during office hours and even responds to emails on the weekend. I would absolutely take her again for future math classes.

She was the best math teacher I have ever had. I have taken Calc in high school and none of those teachers compare to her. She explains things very clear, and is understanding if you take longer to learn. I would love to take her again but unfortunately she does not teach the next class... :(

Janet Peart is the best math teacher in Auburn Hills, she will give you the best ways and methods to be successful in her class and in math in general. also she presents the subject in a easy and fun way so you learn math without any effort. I took her in 1100 last semester and now I'm taking 1150 but I still use her math solving techniques.

I loved this teacher! She explained the material extremely well and was always eager to help. Recommended for those who are not strong in the math department- Professor Peart will get you there! (Oh and her partial credit on tests helps a lot too!)

SHE WAS A GREAT TEACHER OVERALL BUT SHE REQUIRES A LOT OF WORK. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE A BUSY LIFE AND DO NOT TAKE SHE GIVES TOO MUCH HOMEWORK AND ITS ABOUT 80-60 QUESTIONS PER CHAPTER. TOOK HER IN SUMMER AND I PASSED BUT I WORKED REALLY HARD AND STRESSED A LOT. IF YOUR NOT GOOD IN MATH I DO NOT RECOMMEND, GOOD TEACHER OVERALL BUT TO MUCH WORK.

Mrs. Peart is hands down, the BEST teacher I've had at OCC. She taught algebra with enthusiasm and teaches the subject in a clear and understanding manner. If you come to class, study, take in all she has to offer on the subject, and DO the homework, you'll pass with a great grade! She really helped me a great deal in getting an A+.
