My favorite professor this semester by far. Her class was 1 hour+ but felt shorter than some of my 50 min ones because she's so entertaining. You learn a lot, laugh in her class, and she really wants you to succeed. She cares so much for her students, it's inspiring. You're very well-prepared for tests and assignments. LOVE HER SO MUCH.

My favorite professor at Loyola. As an SLP major, you take some extremely difficult classes, and JP ensures at least an A- in her class if you complete all of the work which is a great change of pace. She's easygoing with deadlines, and all of her assignments and lectures are very interesting. Take home exams or gives you the questions beforehand.

Best prof I've had in three years! Kind, caring, sweet, helpful, HILARIOUS. This class was 2.5 hours and she is so loud and energetic that even if you sit in the back row you'll be engaged the entire time. 3 assignments but she is very clear on instructions-read the syllabus always,3exams, lots of videos to illustrate concepts, interesting material

AMAZING, best teacher I have ever had. Not only will you learn a ton, but you will enjoy every second of her class. She is so enthusiastic about class there is no way you won't pay attention. Definitely take her for any course you can!

Fun & interesting person. Tells lots of crazy and random personal stories all the time. Okay teacher-- can be snappy at times; def. someone whose grading depends on mood. Tests arent bad if u know you're stuff. Tough grading on writing, particularly technical. Fun class but not a breeze to get an A.

JP is the best teacher I've had at Loyola. Take her for any class you can. For Cult Div we didn't have much work and just talked for most of the "lectures." It was the most fun I've had in a class here.

Nice person, okay teacher. Def chooses favorites and is a little short w/ ppl and set in her ways about certain protocol/ when to ask questions/ when to email her, etc. Also a bit crazy and kind of confusing at times. Def a nice and fun teacher and lots of writing on tests so know your stuff front and back!

Janet Preis is my absolute favorite teacher at Loyola! She is definitely one of the most interesting professors I have, she spends a lot of time talking about her own experiences and teaches so much about REAL LIFE. She tells you about what is on tests and never gives quizzes. Her notes are outlines that you just fill in during class - it's easy.
